Cuisinart Bread Machines

From a large company making various kitchen products that continuously received thumbs up from users, Cuisinart bread makers are similarly getting good feedback for their design and performance.

Each one of the Cuisinart bread machines are unique, even if they have a similar appearance. The design is always a sleek box-like machine in a brushed stainless steel and chrome housing that gives the kitchen a professional look.

I have used several Cuisinart bread makers myself, and the bread is really good from all of them. The non-stick baking pans are easy to clean and the bread slides out easily every time.

Cuisinart CBK-200 Breadmaker

This Cuisinart bread maker is great for those who are experienced in baking as it offers a multitude of choices in bake settings. The pre-programmed options are pretty foolproof on their own, always resulting in a perfectly risen dough or beautifully baked loaf.

You may customize the settings before baking but cannot change it halfway through the cycle, which may be a bummer for the true baking experts who love to fully customize everything.

In my experience, you can get a better texture for the bread if you remove the bread from the baking pan as soon as the baking is done and air it for a while before slicing. This way the bread tends to be more chewy and won’t over-bake.

Cuisinart CBK-100

cuisinart cbk-100Among all the bread machines I’ve tried, including those high end ones, this Cuisinart bread maker makes the tastiest gluten free bread of all. If you’re on a gluten free diet, no store bought bread will satisfy you once you’ve tried the delicious gluten free recipes baked with this Cuisinart bread machine.

Certainly, you could make any kind of bread with this Cuisinart bread machine as well, in small loaves between one to two pounds. The 12 programs and 3 crust shades make things interesting and easy for the new baker. The loaves consistently come out great with good crust.

I like that it’s very easy to clean with removable pan, kneading blade and even the lid. The only downside to this bread machine is the loud beep that some people find annoying. It is actually to notify you to add fruit and nuts or to signify the end of the baking, but there’s no way for you to turn the volume down.

Cuisinart BMKR-200PC Bread Maker

If you have a smaller budget you may want to consider this model.

The Cuisinart BMKR-200PC makes an Artisan loaf which is crunchy, rich and hearty, thanks to the convection feature of this bread maker that bakes the bread with circulated air in the machine. The circulated heat bakes the loaf more evenly.

You can also make a decent gluten free loaf with this bread maker.
